Spent 3 nights at Beynova Hotel while visiting a client across the E5 highway. Client arranged the stay as they have a deal with the hotel that saved my company money on the room rate. As the client is on the outskirts of Istanbul, so is the hotel so it's not the ideal location for sightseeing in the downtown area. Beynova is easy to get to, right off of the highway. It's about a 36TL cab fare from Attaturk Int'l Airport.
The room was small, but adequate. Bed was firm, but comfortable. Included a desk for work. The front desk provided the WiFi password and it worked as advertised. The bathroom was small with no counter space on the sink, but the shower stall was a good size. Unfortuately it leaked, but the maid service cleaned up the water daily. Room included a safe with electronic keypad which could fit my laptop comfortably. All power outlets were 220V with the Type F connector. Fortunately I brought a handful of connectors, most of which fit, but some that didn't so take note of this. The elevators were tiny...the bellhop had to take our luggage in a 2nd trip as four of us barely squeezed inside.
The hotel provided a breakfast buffet which was included in the room price and was pretty good. Great assortment of cheeses, olives, bread and cereal. Included a few hot items as well. Coffee was regular, not Turkish :-\ The hotel has a 2nd restaurant that offers dinner, but I did not try it. Same goes for the spa.
The front desk was very accomodating when calling for taxis which showed up within a minute every time. The bellhop service was good as well. I did not change money with the front desk, but the posted rates for USD and EU were not bad...usually they are awful at hotels.
For business in the area, the hotel is definitely adequate...even good. I would not recommend this hotel for tourists as it's too far away from the action in downtown and it's not the most comfortable hotel for unwinding after a day of sightseeing; It also doesn't seem very family-friendly as the most that will fit in the rooms is 2 people max. Book it with the right expectations and a stay there will be fine.
