I joined my friend to a conference in Eilat, so I didn't pay the usual rate for this hotel. So my review has nothing to do with money.
The rooms are actually suites, so they are quite big considering the Israeli standard. However the hotel is pretty old so the rooms are OK but not more than that: The LCDs are relatively small, the phone is old fashioned, it smells old.
The plus: refrigerator and kitchen facilities.
Really good for families with kids - there are 3 pools, one of them simulates the beach (with sea sand), so it's really great for kids.
The food is also average. There's a large variety but there are no tags on each dish, and it's pretty annoying to find someone to ask about each of the dishes. The deserts variety is not as good.
There is no free WIFI. It costs 40NIS a day or that you can go to the cafe in the hotel. When I was there the WIFI didn't work,
The staff are really trying to be the best, but 2 times I called the reception and had to wait for about 10 minutes until someone answered me. The requests were delivered fast though.
The location is great, it's not on the beach but it's right next to it.
In general - if it's not too expensive - go for it. Just don't have too many expectations.
