I stayed at the Millenium while attending a trade show at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The hotel is about a 30-45 minute drive from ADNEC during peak traffic hours.

The suite I occupied had 3 rooms including a very large and luxurious bathroom with a separate shower and bath.

Other rooms included a living room and bedroom with a king-sized bed. Both rooms featured large screen HD televisions though there is a very limited number of HD stations. Room also featured high-speed internet that was relatively easy to connect to.

I ate at two of the hotel restaurants and found the food to be adequate, but not quite 5-star level cuisine. The breakfast buffet in the front lobby restaurant was excellent and included in the price of my room, although that was not the case with everyone at the hotel and I'm aware that it was very expensive as a separate item. Alcohol is available at the restaurants.

I found the service excellent throughout my stay at both of the restaurants, the front desk, and the concierge. The staff is well-trained and helpful.

Only downside is the cost. During peak visiting periods such as major trade shows the rooms were $1200 USD per night.

The best place to be in terms of relaxing and lot of comfort. The 5 - star hotel, absolute customer focus oriented hotel, loved to stay in such a peaceful hotel.

Requested an early check-in but the hotel wasn't able to accommodate due to being full the night before. While I understand that this happens, knowing we had travelled 14 hours, we were given no assistance with storing luggage or what we should do while waiting. We paid for an expensive breakfast in the restaurant but no one came to tell us the rooms were ready until we went back to the check-in.
The rooms are nice for business class travel. Good location, Food is decent but not spectacular. Where they could improve is the service at check-in.

We arrived at the Millenium at 8.30 AM - seeking an early check-in! We were shown up to the Club Lounge on the 15th floor and were told that a room would be found for us as soon as possible.
Half an hour later we were shown to our room - we had been upgraded to a Club Suite - taking up one quarter of the end of the hotel and overlooking Lulu island and the Corniche.

In the evening we had free drinks and food in the Club lounge from 7.00pm until 11.00 pm. There was really no need to go down for dinner!

Breakfast in our room was superb (and was included in the rate for Club rooms).

Everything about this hotel is lovely and the staff are both friendly and professional - I would highly recommend the hotel.

When we were leaving, despite our very early check-in, we were given a late check out until 4.00 pm.

On our way back from Borneo, we had an unscheduled overnight in Abu Dhabi, and naturally chose the Millenium. Despite the room being a little pricier - given the last-minute reservation, we were again upgraded to an Executive Suite.
