Enjoyed my stay.

I stayed at the hotel while participating in a conference, and was very pleased with my experience there. Located on the 22nd floor, my room was of reasonable size, with a king size bed, and had a very modern bathroom. The hotel lobby, gym and restaurants ("Brasserie" and "Skyline") are superb and well above average for Asia. Staff was exceptionally pleasant and courteous. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to a huge mall (COEX Mall), and about a 10 minute walk to the subway.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Seoul and expecting a 4 to 5 star hotel experience.

The hotel was fabulous! The service, food, and the hotel room. The rooms were posh, immaculate and comfortable. The location is convienant as there are tons of shops, restaurants, and bakeris below the hotel. The food was great... fresh fruit every morning!

The only negative associated with this hotel is the surrounding traffic in Seoul. I don't think anyone in Seoul can escape the traffic.

stayed at the hotel for two nights, attending a conference at the hotel. the rooms were very big with a huge shower cubicle. pillow menu with at least five choices available. rooms were very clean and spotless.

views of seoul from the huge windows were fantastic. great indoor heating - it was below freezing in seoul and you wouldn't even notice it anywhere in the hotel.

the gym was great - very big with lots of equipment. they lend you free t-shirts, shorts, socks, and sports shoes - all clean and tasteful. big sauna and jacuzzi - separate ones for men and women. the swimming pool was large, standard 25-meter heated pool, next to the gym.

there's a really big shopping mall beneath the hotel - so big it took me almost two hours to get to the other side of the mall!

food at the hotel was top quality, as to be expected for intercontinental. staff were attentive, although their levels of english varied. when this happened, they always made sure someone with better english answered our questions - very professional.

levels of service, rooms, and overall rating would match that of the peninsula in hong kong or the ritz in london.
