I dont know how the hotel manage to get 4 stars because the place is a little tired and the stale smell from the carpet just makes you miserable after a while.
We stayed at the 14th floor for 1 night and it was really bad. everything was literally in pieces and we were lucky we were just really tired.
On our last 2 day back to cairo we went back to the hotel this time on the 8th floor. The room was definetely better than the 14th floor but the stale smell was still very prominent. My frds had a room facing the mosque however the prayers call was bearable for a Friday and not too loud than what we have imagined.
Hot water from the tap came out with a brownish colour so that is to be take note off.
Breakfast was tragic save for the crossiant. It was might as well since most of the guests seems not to have much appetite. The waiters and servers kept theirselves busy sneaking bites from the buffet table.
Overall, I would try not to stay here again.
Get water from the petrol kisok just behind the hotel. The shops ards the hotel just tries to rip you off when they know you are tourists.
