Well Im not sure what everyone else that has reviewed is talking about. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired, and unfortunately the reviews below do not adaquetley describe what this hotel is. Here is what this hotel is...we arrived in cairo at 8pm. It took our taxi an hour and a half to find it while driving around asking everyone everywhere. Oh yeah we were in a taxi b/c the hotel driver never showed to pick us up as pre arranged so that cost us money. we pulled up to this run down building and at first I thought I was about to be ripped off since you wouldn't guess the best reviewed hotel was in the structure. The hotel staff is unwilling to do anything, the meals are sub par at best, and you can only get food/drink (juice or water only so far) at pre arranged times if your lucky. We got to the hotel needing some mix for some vodka we brought, and they said they couldn't help. Then the next night dinner is servered from 6-9pm only!!!! At 830 when I asked if we could get some food the reply was not tonight. I questioned them about their dinner hours and they said yes normally but not tonight! So again that sucked. The TV in the room is a huge 13" with about 12 channels, 3 are english. Why would we watch TV on our HONEYMOON?? Cause the hotel staff is useless and has no ideas for what we can do. Anyway I could go on and on, oh yeah the bathroom in our room is completely renovated, but the shower head only points at the wall, the glass doors leak and being a tradesman myself I was looking for ways to fix all the problems instead of enjoying my stay. Anyway I would recommend this hotel to people on a tight budget that are willing to put up with some hotdogs for breakfast sausage and poorly cooked scrammbled eggs, so if your not on a tight budget, I wouldn't stay here, there is no night life, no hotel service, and the neighbourhood leaves a lot to desire...a lot!
