While the front desk was very nice, as was Waleed, I would NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone. Honestly, I felt very unsafe here and pushed a dresser up against the door while I slept ( there was no deadbolt - just a little lock like you would expect in a bedroom in a home). While with a glance it didn't look so bad - just looking behind the curtains was appauling and there was honestly trash and dust under the bed - which we didn't even see until the day of check out - but it was nasty.
We faced a wall, heard noise ALL night from the rooms around us and I slept with the light on because I was convinced bugs would crawl out of the wall if I turned them off.
The bed sheet didn't even go all the way to the end of the bed... and I was constantly checking to see if there were bugs, possibly out of paranoia - I did get a few bug bites after the two days in Cairo/Giza (this hotel is in Giza) although I can't honestly say for sure that it was from here.
The shower and shower curtain creeped me out so much that I didn't shower the two nights I was there....
Its obvious the cleaning staff needs to be taught how to clean or paid more or something, who knows.
The place was generally disgusting and I would look for another place to stay. I think we paid 30 dollars a night for this place which was WAY overpriced. Maybe if I had at least felt safe in my room at night I wouldn't have minded the dirt.
