i really liked the hostel,it was clean and the owners, Hassan ,Zizo and Mustafa were just great.They were so helpful .
I came alone and i am a female and they made me very comfortable it was like a family.Zizo did my trip to Luxor and Aswan and i didnt have much time but he organized so well,that i saw all the main stuff in 3 days. I would come bk again for sure.

Arrived and we were met by a taxi at the airport sent from the hotel, excellent guy who also drove us around for a day to the pyramids, through Ciaro and helped us sort out our sleeping train tickets, as you can only pay in US dollars or on Visa. Got to the hostel all very clean, really friendly and helpful, right in the centre of downtown which is manic and a great eyeopener. Zizo who runs the hostel was more than brilliant for us and helped us book the rest of the trip - it all went smoothly being met at each destination, tours arranged, fantastic hotels to stay in and arrange the ferry trip to Sharm and a 1 nite curise on the nile - was amazing and we seriously couldnt have done it without him!! I would highly recommend you stay with them at Let me inn especially if you dont want to do the organised tours and want to do it off your own back as they will be able to help!! Fab time and would def stay again.

Let Me Inn is indeed a hostel, so don't expect the amenities of a hotel. The bathrooms are shared, but they are clean and have excellent hot/cold water. The reason to stay here are the staff. They bend over backwards to help you, from booking taxis to giving advice about trips. If you book thru them, they'll charge a markup of course (this IS egypt after all) but you won't get cheated.

The rooms are clean and large, but no a/c. Free breakfast is good, again for a hostel. They have free internet with a good connection, and you'll meet lots of other travelers (mostly 20-30 year olds). It can be noisy, so ask for a room away from the lounge.

Other than the lack of a/c and a somewhat scary elevator, I don't think you could find a better hostel.

even thought this place is classified as a hostel, it has the amenities and services of a hotel. the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are well furnished, brand new, there is a great restaurant, it is in a great location. they even have wi fi access. i would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a comfortable and cosy place to stay.
