Honestly I feel like that the place is over hyped. First the location is not all that, since the entrance of the restaurant is near a bus stop and the buses and matatus like to block the entrance and someone who doesn't know the place can easily miss the entrance. parking is also an issue since the inside parking lot is small and you have to park outside, but they have security added security for that.

we were a big group, made a reservation for 15 people but some cancelled last minute and we were 11. The host was gracious enough to show us to our table and that is where trouble started. The napkins were damp and when we complained to our waiter he insisted that its because of the air conditioning and that they are not damp but cold, but upon insisting that they are damp that is when he admitted that they might have been removed from the laundry while still damp and placed on the tables. That aside we decided to ignore and try and enjoy ourselves. we requested for hot towels to clean our hands before eating and they were not hot, just warm bordering on cold. Salad bar was okay and the meats were just okay, nothing special. food service was fast but we had to insist on the prawns being brought out. Went to the washroom and it did not have water, upon asking one of the waiter for a hot towel to clean my hands, I am told that we are allowed only one towel upon arrival. Had to insist and stand at the entrance to be given a towel to clean my hands. Now once the bill was brought out, they had billed us for 15 people and we were 11, and the waiter said that they bill according to the number of people you reserve. In all my life I have never heard such bull in my life. We insisted and the bill was amended.

In short, I would never recommend this place. service was mediocre if not poor, food was average. we have had the pleasure of doing Tamarind and they were way better, that was an experience. Maybe we came with high expectations because of that but whatever it is, we were not pleased.

For those seeking for a Brazilian experience in the heart of the city then Fogo Gaucho is the place of choice. The meats are tasty and the desserts great. for meat lovers you get the opportunity to each as much as you can for a fixed menu price.

If you have worked up an appetite, Fogo Gaucho is certainly the place to go! Not only is the food plentiful, but it is also very tasty. I was blown away with the salad bar and honestly could've just eaten the delicious salads the whole evening! The variety of protein was like something I've never seen before - steak, prawns, fish, chicken, lamb, pork sausages and more!! I wouldn't say it was the best meat I've ever eaten, but for the variety that you receive you really can't complain. It was an awesome experience.

The salad bar was good. Fresh veg ok assortment.

The meat was just OK. The beef sausage was very good, beef top loin also. All other cuts was mediocre.

Caipirinha was excellent

The service was very nice but meat came too fast.

Would come back, especially if you don't have frequent opportunities to go to a churascaria.

I really am lost for words. This place is absolutely amazing. The salad bar is properly stocked and the Meat buffet is the climax of the experience here. Fantastic service especially by the brazilian staff. Kudos to Clifford (kenyan) for the extra effort of making us more comfortable. He was outstanding.

The meats here beat any other brazilian restaurant out there and I've had my proper share. Keep it up fellas.
