On our last night in Nairobi (after 2 weeks of hard graft and many restaurant visits) we decided to go with our colleagues to a little restaurant we had happened to drive past during our stay. Although it looked very unassuming from the outside, we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to find a great setting outside in a garden. There were trees and plants everyone, with lanterns hanging from branches - a lovely little escape from the busy city with building happening left, right and centre. Two of us ordered the tuna steak with roasted wedges and grilled veg and I have to say that it was the best tuna I have ever eaten. The smoky flavour was delicious, and the accompaniments were also very good! The others had the stuffed chicken breast (with one thumbs up, and one mixed feelings) and the chicken pot pie which was thoroughly enjoyed. I will definitely be going back on our next trip in Jan! Awesome vibe, delicious food - it's about thyme you try it out!
