We stayed here on two occasions on our trip (with a package to Shanghai in the middle). Both rooms were adequate, but fairly small. The first had a view over Victoria Harbour and the second simply looked out upon other apartment blocks on the inland side of Hong Kong Island.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. They safely stored some of our luggage whilst we went off to China for 3 days.

The location is a real minus: we ate at a couple of local (very basic, very cheap) cafes, but typically one would need to get transport out to do anything. Hotel Shuttle Bus is free, but only hourly. The Hotel is about 100 metres from underground railway, which is an excellent system - cheap, fast and frequent. We'd recommend that for most travel.

The hotel restaurant (Greens) normally has a buffet - there is a huge range, but (sorry) I find it difficult to get excited about a buffet, which are typically more about quantity than quality. We also found this surprisingly expensive for what it was. Would we stay here again? No.

Let's just say that it is clean hotel. Close to MTR (subway), supermarket Wellcome, Mc Donalds, that's all.

Location wise, not very convenient, the closest mall would be Tai Koo by tram, and to go to Causeway Bay would be pretty far by HK standard.

The reason I stayed here because all the other hotels were fully booked at the time within my price range. So would I recommend it, well only if you can't find other hotels in the last minute for the Hong Kong side hotels. I guess more hotels in Kowloon side.

As what other contributor said, yes it is located beside a funeral house, unless you are superstitious then better don't stay here but luckily I'm not, and the hotel is quite full of guests by the way.

We stayed here for a few nights on the first leg of our honeymoon. While the hotel itself is nice and the staff all curtious and helpful we were disappointed with the location.

Making the mistake of getting off the tube at north point station we had a bit of a trek with our cases in the humidity of the afternoon. So anyone staying at this hotel should stay on for one more stop and its right outside the hotel.

We paid extra for the harbour view room and while we could see the harbour it wasnt quite what we expected. Between two buildings. Wasnt worth the extra.

I had a good deal in this hotel through Expedia. It was all worth it,
great room space in HK standards, very clean, healpfull and generous staff. Simply, it's all what you can ask for.

Like any other thing in life, it's not perfect. The only drawback i can find on this hotel is its location. It's quite far from city center and from where all the fun is.( which means gonna make you pay extra for transportaion within HK), although it is less than a minute walk to the MTR station.
