When I first saw our 'superior' room I was a little surprised.. it really was tiny!. But, when you look at the price and location, Who Cares!!.
Breakfast was provided, although the breakfast area is kind of small, so finding a table can be an issue in busy periods. Internet access was free to the room and they also provide internet terminals. Free Laundry facilities are also available

The location of this Hotel is outstanding. The Temple street Night market is only a minute or two's walk away, Mongkok and the ladies market are only a short walk too.

For those that can live without a big hotel room, and prefer great facilities and location, stay here!

Compared to other HKG hotels this is a bargain! It was clean, comfortable and at a very convenient location.
The A 21 Airport Bus gets you there for HKD 33, you have free internet and breakfast at the hotel and you're next to the Temple Street Night Market.
The staff is friendly and helpful and early/late check-in/out is possible.
If you are on a budget and you want to be smack bang in the middle of HKG , this is the place to stay.

I stayed with my wife at Evergreen Hotel HK from 25 to 29 April 2007 and from 30 April to May 1th 2007 (1 night out in Shenzhen, China)...I reserved via hotelclub.net and paid 90€/night, with no breakfast on my booking conditions, however when checked-in, we were breakfast free after all :) Hotel is located in a rather tipical HK street, with 7Eleven right next door and lots of restaurants available, and besides right next to Temple Market St....and near crossing between Nathan Road and Jordan Road, so lots of Buses and MTR right a small walk away..very cool! The hotel itself has fair conditions for the price, breakfast is everyday the same but not just oriental, also european, has free internet in 3th floor (5 computers!), has free laundry! Rooms are small but with all conditions, including TV with 4 channels, Mini bar, coffee&tea facilities, complete WC with hair dryer and all! Staff is excelent, always at your disposal...Mr. Simon Lam is the best, maybe because of him I got so nice rooms (at hotelclub you can only get at Evergreen Twin Beds, but he manage to give me Double for both stays)...is a great man!!
Conclusion , a fair hotel for the price and vice-versa!

If your prime holiday consideration is "The Hotel"; if you want to be pampered, spoiled and patronised; if splendour and opulence is paramount, don't stay at the Evergreen.
Because this hotel will not please you. This hotel does what it says on the tin and no more, it provides decent, basic accommodation at a fair price.
Slap in the middle of work-a-day Kowloon, with all its bustle, noise, smells and character, The Evergreen is a gem. Small, clean, comfortable rooms, quiet air con, a good breakfast, lovely staff, right next to the best transport system in the world, all for £20 per night? Come on!
The next time we visit Hong Kong my wife and I won't hesitate to book in again. Well done Evergreen, may you stay Green forever!
