My first trip to Hong Kong was full of anxiety. Nobody I knew can recently tell me how Hong Kong is.
First thing that worried me was the hotel that we would stay in. I'm not sure whether it would be a Hotel worthy to be "Pimped" to others.
The people manning the Front desk were professionals and courteous. They were even able to accommodate us before the check in time. And I believe we were upgraded to a deluxe room for free. Their command of the English language made communication a breeze.
The rooms are perfect for Asians. I say this because I believe we Asians are built smaller on average compared to our caucasian friends. It is not too small and you can say that its size is comparable to its cost. The shower area though would be much better if expanded.
Dorsett Far East Hotel, although far from the City Center, is very accessible. Bus stops are a few steps away, plus the ultra efficient MTR which is about an 8 min walk. Going around the city is a piece of cake.
I would surely reserve in this Hotel again if I ever go back to Hong Kong. Given that others do not give out crazy deals.
