This is a very modern and chic minimalist hotel. The rates are very competitive and you get a very nice hotel room with ample facilities like broadband and etc. Their Executive lounge is a good meeting spot to meet business clientale and have small business chit chat over light snack. It even comes with free wifi facility.

Location is good and you can get to anywhere within central jakarta from 10 - 20 mins by taxi. There is an abundance of warongs outside the hotels where you can get to sample local indonesia food.

The star is its refreshing minimalist chic design. Great personalised service as well. Can improve on variety of choices in food & beverages and also upgrade its in-room mini-fridge. Overall wonderful value and my premier choice in jakarta.

Everything we needed for our first day in Indonesia - great pool area, fab gym (I even did a spinning class), amazing spa and delicious dinner - all this in 24 hours. Highly recommend this hotel for those travelling through Jakarta. We didn't venture outside the hotel - jet lag - so I can't comment on the location

Stayed at the Alila Jakarta for three nights in June, and was impressed by the impeccable service and facilities. The room was large, sparsely furnished and clean. It's located slightly off the beaten track, but not too far from Jl Sudirman. The staff took good care of me, knew my name by the second day. The food in the restaurant is great, a mixture of local and western food, and it's a lively place during the day. The gym is well equipped and clean, and the pool is beautiful. Not as grand as some of the other large hotels, but well done in a W Hotel sort of way.
