In addition to the previous post, there's a small gift shop with hats, shirts, pins, patches, etc. Also, be sure to visit on a Saturday when there's an open house at the fire station. Lots more to see. Note: it's closed on Mondays

The Civil Defence dept in Singapore includes the Fire Dept and that is the prime subject here. They have a variety of old trucks, and exhibits on the history and operations of the dept. Located in the former central fire station. It's free and they are happy to see you. Only takes an hour.
