We were a party of 5 international girls. I'm Belgian and my friends are all married to Frenchies so we pretty much know French bistrots.
First of, it does feel like being in a bistrot, it's crowded and noisy. The service is friendlier than in a real bistrot in France. On the other hand, the staff seemed overwhelmed at some point.
I ordered the "crepe fermiere" without chicken being vegetarian and I enjoyed it but I had 3 tiny leaves of not so fresh "frisee" salad. One of the girls said her "boeuf bourguignon" was delish, another said her mussels and fries were so-so, the two others liked but didn't rave about their breaded Camembert nor the "salade oceane". In the desert category, the "creme brulee" was a hit and so was the "locura del jefe"; the "banane flambee" was in its skin (that was a first) and my profiteroles were huge and not great at all but then, I'm picky with deserts.
Generous portions, reasonable prices but it's not easy to find, I had to call to find my way.
Will I come back? Why not. With friends probably. I'll also keep the address in mind for the days hubby and I are tired of eating healthy and want something more comfy.
