I had found this hotel through the recommendations in TripAdvisor and was not dissapointed. It's a great little place in Lima with extremely friendly staff. Already during my preparation they helped me a lot, made reservations for my further travel for me (they even had to go to the bus station to do this). Once I arrived I felt like coming home.
The rooms were nice although I preferred the normal room which I had in the second night to the junior suite which I had in the first night since it was quieter.
The smell was the only thing which I didn't like since a lot of room perfume was used but after having left the windows open for a while, it was fine as well. Breakfast was great - I didn't need much more food during the rest of the day!
I can very much recommend this nice little place with it's beautiful people who make you feel at home away from home! Thanks again to all of them!

My stay at the Basadre Suites in Lima, Peru was very pleasant. The staff was very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. I would recommend the Basadre to other travelers and will choose this hotel again on my next trip to Lima.

I went for the first time to Lima and just tried to find a good hotel to stay 3 days in the city for business in a safe location. I had the good luck to find this hotel searching in the internet, near the company I was visiting who provideded me a very attencious and reliable taxi driver to pick me up in the airport and take to my client office. I could made the reservation using a Online chat service. The people in the hotel was very attentious, specially in the restaurant. The internet connection in the hotel was very good since I had to make some calls using Skype. I would go back to this hotel if necessary in the future.

I tend not to write reviews, but talking about Basadre Suites is a must. I have been there 5 times in the last year, and allways I found a warm, clean and safe place as home. Staff is great allways focus on you.

On my 4th travel I forgot a cell phone and they keep it for me until my last travel. Honesty is a very hard thing to find in any hotel. I plan to stay there all the times I am in Lima.

Almost forgot, breakfast are GREAT!!! You don't need to go to other place.
