Location: Couldn't be better. In the centre of Tirana.
Rooms: My standard room was small but clean. The decoration and furniture are more similar to those of a room in a university campus than of a 4* hotel. The bed was comfortable and the small writing desk with free internet connection available really useful. Lots of satellite channels in the 21' TV (including 5 Greek channels), medium
size sife, small wardrobe. The mini-bar was not adequately stocked (only a bottle of pepsi, 7up, one (!) small bottle of water, one red wine, one beer, a chocolate and chips). No extra plugs available (I disconnected a lampshade to charge my mobile). The size of the bathroom was ok but the shower tray was soooo small that medium pressure of water resulted in an unpleasant flood! Lobby & other common areas: Spacious with old-fashioned decoration. Breakfast: Buffet but don't expect something special. It is served in the hotel's restaurant in 2nd floor, which is great: its minimal decoration is wonderful and it also has a very nice veranda overlooking Scanderbeg Square. Staff: Polite and helpful (many of them speak Greek fluently).
In conclusion, this hotel would not be the highlight of your trip; however it is ok for a short stay in Tirana's most central area.
