A simple and cozy hotel - a good base to explore the city. It's just 5 minutes walk to Britanski Trg (Britain Square) and 10-15 minutes to other city attractions. There's an uphill walk to the hotel from the Square, but you can choose to take the bus, it stops a few steps away from the hotel entrance.
I wouldn't consider the design features exceptional or luxurious. The rooms are comfortable and peaceful with designs that allow natural light in. The dark wooden floors are lovely and the terrace opening into a small garden is a relaxing. However, the garden needed some attention. I found the toilet design awkward in both room 23 & 31, the hair dryer looks dated, there's a swivel glass panel at the bathtub to avoid water from splashing if you are taking a shower.
The highlight of this hotel is its staff. The girls are attentive, accommodating, informative and friendly. Tanya & Valerie helped us in may ways. These ladies work multiple roles, so be patient at breakfast when other guests are seated too.
There's a welcome drink upon checkin. Breakfast is simple and plenty, there's a bread basket, yogurts, fresh fruits platter, meats & cheeses. Eggs are available upon request.
Recommended for couples, small families, not for business travellers.
