Perfect spot for a solo island getaway! The Inn was an easy walk from the ferry (even with my huge bag and bike) and my room was very comfortable and pretty, with roses peeking in the window. The innkeeper and staff were so friendly and attentive to my needs, going out of their way to make sure I got an early breakfast one day before a race and even saving me the crossword puzzle from the newspaper. Breakfast in the garden was lovely, and I appreciated healthy choices like fresh fruit, yogurt and whole-grain muffins in addition to the more decadent baked treats. The Inn was quiet and peaceful despite its convenient central location (with town attractions and beaches within walking distance), and proved an ideal jumping-off spot for island adventures. One of those gems I'm almost reluctant to share, in the hopes that a room will be available next time I travel to Nantucket!
