we only stayed one night but wished we stayed longer. this brand new inn is beautiful, almost elegant. the woodwork is striking. every detail is attended to. the view is as good as the more expensive, more established hotels. it gets our highest recommendation.

This hotel's interior was magnificiently designed by its director, Marleni Gonzalez and is something to be hold. Each detail is done for the utmost in your staying pleasure. Breakfast was included and fresh eggs are made for you. Most of the other breakfast menu is heart healthy. The staff was very helpful. The room facing the volcano mountain is simply breath-taking. This jewel set in this most beautiful city of Antigua is well worth the short distance in walking from the central plaza and is quieter. A true treasure for a honeymoon couple.

My husband and I stayed at Los Loros for 5 night. The highlight was with our room door open, we could sit on the end of our bed and look out at the volcano. It was a spectacular view! It felt like we were in a friend's home. The rooms are beautiful, clean and modern with a bathroom as big as some bedrooms. We were able to use the kitchen when ever we wanted so we were able to save on eating out by buying some groceries and cooking right there. They had tea and coffee on all the time, so it was really nice if we felt like staying there to read and relax. It is about a 10 minute walk to Central Park so it is close to everything and you have to pass by the market which is a cultural experience you won't want to miss. You are far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the night life that you will have a great nights sleep. They don't have a pool but there is a hotel a 5 minute walk away that will happily let you use theirs for a nominal fee. The only thing I suggested to them is that people may like to have a clock radio in the rooms. It is a quiet setting so if you are looking for a party atmosphere you may find it too quiet. We loved it and are returning with three other couples this month!
