My husband, mother and I stayed here for 3 nights. Peline 13 was magnificent for it’s view and booked it on the basis of a review from an Australian, on Trip Advisor. Unfortunately we had windy days and it was difficult to sit on the balcony. It is the highest view in the old town which surpasses anything. The building almost sits on the back wall that surrounds the old town.
One shouldn't be distracted by the sewerage odour which comes from the toilet, this is an old town and we found that in most of the places in Croatia and Bosnia this odour existed. We accepted this is the way that it is, and just tried to air out the room. Most bathrooms don’t have exhaust fans, so you just make do. The apartment is half renovated (Kitchen and Toilet), considering the location, the price is worth it, but I suggest that you eat outside of the old town as it is overpriced – 3 times more than anywhere else in Croatia.
Worst TV reception ever, but you don’t go to Dubrovnik for TV.
One of the owners drove us to the airport for 200kn which sounds a lot, but it’s a fair way and more expensive by cab. (Approx. $50aud) As we left at 4.30am we chose not to take the bus. Tony will also pick you up at the bust stop for a fee.
Would stay there again, any time!
