Maybe later, come back in 20 minutes, the machine is not working, we are changing shifts, out of order, we don't have, it is closed, this is not all inclusive, here you have to pay.....
Even though the hotel is beautiful and the beach is wonderful, the service is the worst I've ever experienced. You cannot have 5 stars, just because the facilities are new and clean. The personnel who is assuring that people are getting the most of their vacation, is more important than anything in this whole equation.
We took an all inclusive package, we got to the hotel at 9 pm, the room was not ready, we were told to come back in 30', and the receptionist was trying to convince us that we didn't have all-inclusive, but half board. Only after I showed her the contract, she agreed. Anyway it didn't make much of a difference because we paid for most of our lunches, and even for one dinner.
Room was clean, but they don't provide bathrobes, slippers, etc.
House keeping was Ok, but putting only 1 set of shampoo and gel, (we were 2), every single day. They didn't replenish the water bottles, as they wrote in the guide, and instead we took from the minibar and paid. Minibar is not all inclusive.
If you get hungry at 12 noon, bad luck! The only place that is open is a kind of pagoda, and you can eat if the cook is working or didn't go to change his clothes. They serve some sandwiches, pizza-frozen, some salads, and shaorma. No fresh fruits, no ice cream (maybe later...)
I didn't see lazier people than these: how is possible to open the beach bar at 9, when the sun is way up on the sky, and some tourists are on the beach before 7 am?
I felt like they were making the most of it not to serve you, and if possible to pay double.
Dinner at the Buffet- have the impression that all the food tastes the same.
A la carte restaurants- you have to book it in advance, 24 hs, and if they want you to pay, they say is full.
Last night we went at the Levant restaurant, which they saud is was fully booked, and surprise : not even 25% full, but because we did not have a reservation, we paid.
I liked the food at the Spanish restaurant, Tapeo, didnt feel restricted as at the Sushi, were we were told that we "can" get 16 pieces of sushi, for 2, and then main course. Second time we went for sushi, I said to the waiter that I prefer to have double sushi, instead of the main course, so 16+16, she said OK. She brought us 16, then dessert, and then next please!
Overall I am so dissapointed of this whole thing, that I will make sure that all the people I know and work with know about this.
But, I have to offer my congratulations to Maher, the bartender, the only normal guy I met in this hotel.
And one more thing: they do not have the Moevenpick ice cream there.
