After reading some dreadful reviews on various sites, I was apprehensive about our booking.
However, We were very well treated. Checking in was swift and easy. My husband uses crutches, and we were immediately offered a disabled room without extra charge. We were allowed to go to the room immediately at about 7am after a night flight for a small, worthwhile charge. Full porterage and a prompt shuttle bus service. (It was the guests who pushed and shoved to get on). Taxis (very cheap,clean with polite drivers) available in the drive- in foyer at all times. Clean room with coffee/tea facilities and pleasant and helpful staff. Good security and honest staff. Variety of food at breakfast, and a most enjoyable evening in the Sizzling Wok, in a side booth with excellent food and service. (Reasonably priced, too), Lifts available, which some previous reviews said did not exist .Check out was not until 1pm, when a taxi was called for us and we were taken direct to the docks to board the QM2,
All in all, we were more than happy and would stay there again. So I would comment that some guests are not altogether truthful in their reviews,
