Amadeus is one of my favorite restaurants in the Ann Arbor area. It's small and cozy and elegant--a great place to meet a couple of friends and relax or to dine alone. The food is homemade-delicious (Eastern European). Try the chicken paprikash, share a plate of yummy pierogies . . . you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Note that it's not diet food: the sauces are rich and the food is authentically of the meat-and-potatoes variety. Desserts to die for. If you're very into veggies, go to Seva, a block south on Liberty. If you're into more of a bar-large group atmosphere and menu variety/experimental food, try Zanzibars a few blocks east on State Street.
