I visited Logan a few times years ago, and it used to feel sterile, and had overpriced, undercooked, American-French boring. I was pleasantly surprised this time. The atmosphere is nicer, a little hypermodern but warm, and the food: Wow. First, they had my favorite wine, Green Veltiner, which few restaurants carry. I had a special menu item, Monk fish in an olive, cilantro and ?? sauce - wish I knew, since it tasted wonderful. It was served on couscous and vegetables, which includes Brussel sprouts which didn't taste like cabbage - miracle. Appetizer was sweetbread - I didn't even known anyone in Ann Arbor carries that - others had interesting salads (they carry a fennel salad). Dishes had a lot of interesting combinations, and portions were ok - eat some appetizer or salad if you are really hungry.
