I stayed at the Weber Hotel for a short college visit to the University of Michigan. About a ten minute drive from the central campus, the hotel is located just outside of Downtown Ann Arbor. We chose this hotel based upon its proximity to the University and the highly advertised indoor pool area. While smaller than it appears in the pictures (as it always does), the pool was a fun distraction and the set-up provides an outdoor-like experience all year round. However, due to a young child and a diaper accident, the pool was closed during one of our nights. We were disappointed at this and expected to receive some kind of compensation from the hotel seeing as how the pool is one of their main selling points, however, this was not the case.
The rooms themselves are pretty nice with a fairly modern design. It both had a flat screen TV and an iHome docking station for iPod's, which were nice perks. The beds were fine, and the bathrooms clean. We didn't visit the restaurant, however, it appeared to be fairly upscale and somewhat pricey, likely not a place for young children.
Overall, we were mostly satisfied during our visit and the hotel is a great option for anyone traveling to the Ann Arbor area or visiting the University of Michigan.
