Stayed here for a wedding reception November 2014.
Had a king size bed roof on the second floor overlooking the entrance.
Our favorite part about this hotel.....the incredible mattress! wow....my wife and I slept very, very well on this mattress. very comfortable.
The Room:
1) as mentioned, your gonna get a good nights rest on these beds! big plus.
2) the room was very clean, including the bathroom and tub. nice.
3) there is an in-room refrigerator, also nice.
4) the in room safe didn't work. followed the instructions, but it would not lock itself. Friends who stayed in another room said their's didn't work either.
5) the bath towels are HUGE. i'm a real tall guy, so i appreciated that.
6) the alarm clock is real nice and easy to use. iHome model. nice.

Hotel Common Spaces:
1) all of the hotel common spaces appear to have been updated recently and are nice materials, look very modern, and are very clean.
2) there was a gymn, but we didn't look inside of it.
3) there were a handful of video games for the kids.

Pool:
1) the pool is an indoor pool and is nice. water was warm in November.
2) the pool area is nice. Looks good. Has interesting layout with circular staircases to each pair of rooms at each level. haven't seen that before, it was neat.
3) Hot tub was fairly small, but when we were at the pool, there were about 5 small kids in it, so we elected to not take advantage of it. it was really foamy around the edges. not sure about that one...maybe it needed to be cleaned????
4) there is a sauna and we did take advantage of it. it's a dry sauna (no water allowed), but it could have been a little hotter. it was okay. I was glad they had one, but it could have been a little better.
5) plenty of towels available at the pool. not need to take your room towel.
6) there were nice lounge chairs available.`

I'd recommend this hotel for a stay.

We arrived for a wedding and spent 2 nights. The amenities were great===clean room, comfy bed, and friendly staff.
Several of us that travelled and stayed woke up with sore throats and stuffy noses. The heating/air units appeared to be older and the air blowing out was dry. I'm not sure when or how often the filters were changed, but many of us associated our symptoms with the units.

Once we checked out, made our drive home, our symptoms resolved.

This was the only 'negative' to a great stay for a wonderful wedding that was held on the property. Room service was reasonably priced, and the pool was an added bonus.

I had a short business trip to Ann Arbor and my hosts kindly paid for my one night stay at Weber's. Reception staff and all others that I dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. My room was large, with a king bed, very comfortable armchair and ottoman. Bed was extremely comfortable with good pillows and linen. Appreciated the bedside lamps. Bathroom was OK and had enough towels and amenities.

I had dinner elsewhere, and down to the exercise room early in the morning. Lots of comments about the pool area on TripAdvisor, and I found it rather strange when I navigated through it. Very loud extractor fans I assume, plus several spiral staircases leading to upper floors. I heard later that this was a big draw for the locals - a nice place to come for a weekend with the kids. Not what I needed, but had a good treadmill workout for an hour, watching one of the loud TVs. Reasonable facilities for a hotel of this type.

Breakfast was again through a maze of stairs and corridors (Fawlty Towers?), and I was greeted by a very grumpy hostess. Lots of dark paneling and quiet singles and doubles. Pleasant wait staff and then I managed to get a smile and co-operation from the hostess as she dealt with the problem on my bill. Always wonder why people choose a job for which they are not suited. Maybe the only one available?

Overall, a very pleasant and relaxed stay at Weber's. Definitely a family type establishment (they gave me a deodorant stick at no charge as I had forgotten mine) and it makes a difference to an out of town stay.

Weber's is like a Caribbean Retreat in the middle of a great city (home to UM). The pool area is spectacular-large, light and airy--with spiral stair cases coming down from 3 floors of suites and rooms. Mini-Suites have large whirlpools and balconies. Some have a second balcony facing outside. The dining is innovative and excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed Weber's for a family mini-vacation with our kids, a romantic get-a-way, and even the first night of our honeymoon. Our only complaint was the fitness room (old equipment) which they refurbished. They redecorate regularly, so it always seems fresh and new. 5 stars!

Room tip: Poolside is fun, but can be noisy at night. The mini-suite are great.

Recently re-done, Weber's is a great little place to have a respite. The rooms are nicely done, it is very close to all things at the University if Michigan and the staff are helpful. Jesse, in particular was very helpful and kind to us. The Sunday buffet is great as well.
