We had to find a reasonable place to stay for our girls basketball team for a tournament at EMU. Comfort Inn gave us a good rate and the employees were all VERY nice!! We had exceptional service while we were there and they put up with the rowdiness from our teenagers! The rooms seemed clean, but in much need of updating! The ceiling tiles in the hallway were stained from leaks and the table and chairs in our room were very rickety and scraped up. Carpet was pretty old and worn, but looked as clean as it could be. One of our rooms had a heater that didn't even work, but they had no problem moving them to another room. The pool area was small, but very clean and nice. The girls had a great time and enjoyed the continental breakfast which was pretty nice. We would stay there again, but would definiltely recommend they do some updating!

Room was clean but stark and the furnishings were very old. No desk, just wobbly pieces of wood that were supposed to pass as a table. Room had a really strong unknown chemical smell that did not dissipate and ultimately gave me a head ache. Front desk staff were efficient but not come across as friendly. Must admit it was less costly than other hotels in area so you must base your decision on what is more important to you.

Comfort Inn Ann Arbor was a delightful place to stay - nice people, clean public areas, quite room, friendly staff, LOVED IT!!!

During the year of 2004, we stayed here to attend the University of Michigan graduation. The bath in our room was dirty(see the pictures). The manager was called but nothing was done. We could not leave since all of the hotels in the area were full. I later wrote Mr. Ledsinger, President and Chief Executive Officer,about the conditions. I did get a letter of apology and asking me to contact Ms. Sephanie Lemar. I did, and asked for a full refund of $ 521.97 for three nights. They offer around half of the amount. We could not agree. I wrote a second letter, but did not get a response. As a result of not getting a resolution, I'm now letting everyone know, do not stay at the Comfort Inn- Ann Arbor. My family will not every stay at any of the Choice Hotels.
