In Siem Reap the tourist trap area seems to be located around the gaudy Pub Street. Faithful to its name, it is, a street filled with cheap pubs, restaurants and souvenirs shops. The clientele is mostly students, aged hippies, and fans of cheap bear. This restaurant is located across Pub Street, it has an upstairs sitting area and we reserved a table there. They serve both Eastern and Western food. I went with my husband and we ordered Western as starters (one goat cheese salad and one carpaccio), which was good. Then we ordered Eastern as main course: I had fried noodles with chicken, but it was very greasy and lacked flavour. My husband ordered spicy rice with beef, which was better than my chicken, but in no way outstanding. Service was OK, but we did not get any water, which is usually served in other restaurants. Price is cheap, but the place does not a bit run down nd there were stains on the table cloth. Nothing special about it, even if it may be interesting to sit on the first floor and watch night activities in the street below.
