We were staying one blok from Sala Bai and walked past every day but sadly saved our visit until the last. If we'd gone earlier we would have eaten here alot.
The restaurant and guesthouse provides comprehensive training to 100 Khmers every year - 70% of them women and all of them from very disadvantaged backgrounds. 100% of graduates (that's more than 800 people to date) have been assisted to find jobs.
The service is the best you will find in Siem Reap and the food is exceptional. You have the choice of a two or three course set menu of western or Asian persuasion or a selection of a la carte dishes.
I can't recommend this restaurant more highly. It's such a great social project - but the food and service cannot be faulted - so it's a win win choice.
