My family (5 adults) spent 3 nights at the Bopha Angkor in early April. I changed rooms once and my mom changed rooms twice due to various problems with the rooms. My first room had a weak A/C, the door didn’t open all the way, the room was dark, the bathroom tiny, and the shower head was only chest-high. My sister's room had none of these issues and she liked her room a lot. On the plus side, the staff were very helpful when we asked for different rooms.
The Bopha Angkor includes a nice breakfast with their rooms. They offer a western style breakfast with eggs, fruit, and baguette, or Asian style with noodle soup and fruit. We had dinner at the hotel on two nights, mainly because we were too tired to venture out. The food was good, although the food and especially the drinks seemed pricey compared to other restaurants. The third night, we found several good restaurant choices in the Old Market area. The Old Market (shops, restaurants, bars, etc.) is only a short distance away - about a 10 min. walk. Or you can take a tuk tuk for $1 (they initially asked for $2, but $1 is the going rate, so we bargained).
I would consider staying at the Bopha Angkor again. It wasn't so exceptional that I'd go back without researching other options, but for the price ($53/nt) it was fine after we got our room issues sorted out.
