First - and last - visit. From the outside , at night, it looks very good. It was warm and cosy inside. Hostesses were well-dressed and well-groomed,but provided no service other than delivering food to the table. Could not get a free glass of water. So far, nothing that would justify the extremely high prices, especially the drinks.
I ordered a coke with lemon, cold with no ice.
I got a glass full of ice and a splash of coke for 28 rmb.
(I forget what they called it on their menu)
A few tiny pieces of tomato on a small piece of bread that was really tough to eat. No flavor apart from the tomato
. we ordered several pizzas. On all of them, the dough was burned black underneath but inside it was undercooked. Very chewy and "doughy" taste. I had one slice of each pizza, disappointing. I thought a wood oven would mean good pizzas - i was wrong.
Mine was burned black around the edges, overcooked and dry on the inside and had no detectable meat sauce. I had two mouthfuls and left the rest.
Good. I ate all mine.
I had lived in Italy for several months and I was looking forward to an authentic meal - and was very disappointed. I dont know what it was. I ate one mouthful.
looked good, but no coffee flavor and no alcohol flavor. I ate it all. .
Parma Ham appetizer
The Parma was good.
pretty good, although I like mine a little stronger.
After reading that this was supposedly the "best pizza in Suzhou" our expectations were high.We were all disappointed. In short, it was over-priced, over-rated, and decidedly under-whelming.
