Grand Hyatt... What else?
This Grand Hyatt has completely raise the bar of all other hotels in Shenyang being the place you want to be. The location in the business district is good and not far from the heart of the city. The lobby of the hotel is on the 25th floor which make it calm, classy and not patronized by a lot of unwanted noisy visitors. The view from the lobby is amazing and the classy and stylish modern decoration make the atmosphere really enjoyable.
The building and the decoration of the hotel are modern and really stunning. A wonderful and luxurious hotel. I loved the room layout and design, especially the shower! The room was excellent! Clean, modern and quite more spacious than I expected. Every amenities you may need were provided and kept in drawers.. Electric plugs are where they should be (accessible and in strategic location) which is not the case everywhere. The shower and the bathroom are just amazing... Bref, the class by Hyatt.
I did not taste the two chinese restaurant (very reputed BTW) but I went to Café Kitchen (on the 26) and "Il Forno" (on the 29) both restaurants were very nice and I had an amazing service and food experience.
The Breakfast buffet as well as the lunch and dinner is just full of diversity from western food to chinese food passing by Thai and Malaisian specialties... There is the choice for every taste. I want to highlight the quality of the food not only the ingredients but also the right recipe and cooking. Every time I went there, I had a a very nice culinary experience enhanced by an attentive service.
Il Forno which is the Italian restaurant is amazing and very worthed to go there for a nice diner!
Best Pizza in Asia! But not only.. the carpaccio, lasagna and Il forno Salad were top dishes in term of taste and presentation.
Last but not least, I want to thank all the associate of the hotel who delivered a true and authentic hotel experience. Striving to achieve the extra miles, Kary from the concierge was extremely helpful and a wise advisor, Daniel (F&B) was very attentive, nice and dedicated hotelier with a true service oriented mind, Chef Valentino is a person that you want to meet if you go to the Italian restaurant and Rudy from the front office who delivered an amazing welcome service and was very proactive in all the requests making sure that the stay will be memorable!
Thank you to all the hotel associate to make me feel "Home away from home!"
