Stayed 2 night with the family on the way from Jordan to Sharm. Good base to visit St. Catherine - owner offers trips there for reasonable price.
People are extremely friendly here. Double-deck restaurant at the sea with pillows and low tables is the best chill-out place I ever saw in my journeys. Though you can find the cheaper meal on the street nearby, we had all our meals here :). The hotel as the whole Dahab makes you feel relaxed and lazy... :) Maybe that's because town is quite empty at the moment (which is very pitty).
Rooms are the weak side. Water in the shower is salty, cupboard in our room was broken, air-con old and noisy. Our Children's room was OK (except water), even with the nice Sea view.

Room tip: Look at the room, choose with newer air-con unit, Check the cupboard, try to get nice sea view.

I stayed here for a week in one of the dorm rooms.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Able to sort out any activity you want to do in Dahab/Sinai. And were very knowledgable about the area and other information you might want.

Their diving centre was really good too, the staff who worked at it were top professionals and it was a pleasure to go diving with them.

The rooms could do with some renovation, but given how cheap it was to stay, I thought it was very good value for money.

I would definitely recommend Pengion Village to anyone looking for something nice but on a tight budget, or for someone looking to do a lot of diving or other activities.

Good hotel, in front of the beach with very friendly staff. Thanks to Tito our stay was even better. The rooms have good air condicioneir, they can book everything in the city for you. The restaurant is a little bit overpriced, but you have very close options. Thanks, guys!
