We booked the oberio after a weeks Cruise on the Nile Vision.
On arrival our luggage was whisked away to our rooms and we were refreshed with chilled towels and a welcome drink.
The rooms are spacious and opulent with seperate dressing room, lovely private terrace and sumptious bathroom with sunken bath. Best of all though tea and coffee making facilities are provided I was in heaven.
Sunbathing on the beach was a dream with chilled fruits towels and frappes brought out to refresh you while you laze.
The food was excellent we dinned in the Indian and a la carte every evening. Our favourite pudding was the chilled rice pudding not to be missed. However beware the egyptian Buffet evening I did get a funny tummy from that otherwise no problems. if you do get a tummy upset see reception they have very fast working medication.
Watch out for the wild egyptian fox they roam at night, the secruity guards say they are not dangerous but they can be a little scarey when you first see them.
The snorkling is amazing and equipment is readily available. we charted a boat to ourselves and went fishing and snorkling further out to sea, it was fantastic what an experience WOW
Back at the hotel the Oberio banion tree beauty clinic is top notch and must be tried if you have the time. I can reccomend the pedicure and manicure both excellent even my husband and daughter had one
My only gipe was the beach, the oberio keeps their beach beautiful and clean. The next beach is public and it is a disgrace rubbish everywhere, I wish they would clean it as I am sure it can not be good for the wildlife.
Talking of wildlife after your dinner one evening take the torch out of your room and go for a midnight stroll along the beach edge. You will see an amazing aray of night time beach creatures and it is well worth a look. Have fun we did
