From the moment you arrive, you are treated to A-list luxury. From the customer service to the accommodation, there isn't anything not to like about this hotel and it's staff. From 5am in the morning until you retire to bed, the guys who look after you are there to make sure every day is a true holiday experience. It's hard to know where to begin, so I'll take you on the journey of a typical day in Le Royale. From day one the staff make sure they know who you are and what makes you happy, so that on day 2 everything that needs to be done to make your stay experience special is. From fresh towels placed on your favourite sun lounger (Ali did a fantastic job with first class service), to your favourite drink made for you as soon as you arrive at the pool side bar. These guys know how to look after people!! Hossam and Sameh were two of the best Waiters I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The hotel and grounds are spotless. In addition to all the things you'd expect from a 5 Star Hotel, it's those little added value things that make Le Royale special. Fresh water is available for you any time day or night, package lunches are made up for you if you're going on a trip, travel plugs are provided, if like us you're dozy enough to pack the wrong one and your room is sprayed every night so that those pesky mosquitos are kept at bay. So you have to eat in the 3 Star Sonesta Beach (which Le Royale is adjacent to). Everyone who down grades this hotel because if it - people: get over yourselves!! There are 2 fantastic speciality resturants available if you don't want to go the buffet route, (Casablanca and the Tandoori) both of which offer an excellent menu choice at dinner. In the day however, the pool bar offers a light breakfast (with freshly cooked eggs in whatever style you want them) from 07:30am to 10:30am and a lunch menu that caters for every taste (and very tasty it is too!!) from 12:30pm - 16:00pm. Thus, no need to venture out of the hotel complex on the hunt for better food. I therefore question is it really about the food, or the fact you have to take a 5 minute walk into the 3 star complex to get your diiner?! However, customer service being at it's best, the lovely people who run this hotel have listened to the reviews and accordingly, Le Royale is looking to build its own 5 star resturant within the complex next year. Would we go back again? In a heart-beat! The time has come to put Egypt back on the 'to visit' list again folks and I'll guarantee you won't find a better hotel than this one for the ultimate experience in 5 Star chill-out!!!
