“excellent hotel, cant wait for next year”

Me and my girlfriend who is 7 months pregnant have just returned from a brilliant week at the sultan gardens resort. we arrived at the sultan gardens and from the first minute the service was outstanding, the hotel is egyptian 5 star but not english standard 5 star, but thats to be expected, by noe means though is this a negative, the sultangardens hotel staff are what make it, always smiling and happy to help

the food is of excellent standard always something different while the staple core of the menu waqs the same, salad, pasta, veg, fruit there was always a different meat to accompany your choice, different theme night of food every night also,
we would particulary like to thank romany and neglaar who served us at each meal time and were excellent,

we are looking to return next year for a family holiday this time with the kids as the entertainment staff are excellent and the kids always have something to do, forget the negative comments on here we had a great visit to the sultan gardens.

this hotel is a definate must. stayed there in October for a week 2010. first time to Egypt and absolutely loved it. the staff were all extremely polite and very helpful. had no problems with anything. we found the food to be at a very high standard but you have to be experimental with the food. Desserts were second to none!! the rooms are very nice and comfortable and were cleaned on a daily basis. we met the vice president of the hotel and he must have been one of the nicest and friendliest person which strived on customer satisfaction. we loved egypt and can't wait to go again next and and will certainly be staying at the same hotel.

“Beautiful hotel”

We just came back from a week at the sultan gardens and can happily say it is a beautiful hotel, 5 different swimming pools and lovely beach. Bars and food at every pool. Unfortunately the food was not very good, breakfast was exactly the same every day with nothing for English to eat, lunch was ok but again very repetetive, and the dinner had no variety, personally I felt the hotel catered more to its non-english guests so we had to make do, lucky enough Mcdonalds deliver to the hotel and is very cheap!! Rooms were a bit dated but comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Be careful if visiting Naama Bay for hagglers.

Dear amyand2010,

Thank you for choosing the Sultan Gardens Resort and for posting your review. We appreciate your feedback and are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We would like to point out that the Sultan Gardens in no way caters for one nationality at the expense of another, especially in the case of the food.

With regards to breakfast, this is the same everyday true, but this is standard for buffets and the items available include veal and beef sausages, egg fritters, potates prepared differently everyday, assorted cereals and yoghurts, fruit, fava beans, baked beans, cheeses, breads, sweet and savory pastries, cinammon toast, pancakes, salad, hardboiled eggs, and a fresh egg station preparing poached eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and omelettes to order. We feel this is excellent variety which offers plenty for English guests to eat.

Lunch and Dinner feature 8 hot items that are different at every meal (including rice, meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables), a live pasta station with a choice of two different pasta sauces for lunch and three for dinner (these sauces change on a daily basis), soups, a live grilling (at lunch this grilling station works on a daily rotation that includes such items as grill kebabs, grilled fish, hotdogs, burgers, grilled calamari and so on) station, salads and desserts. Dinners also feature a carving station.

In addition to this we also serve snack food at pool side. This is also on a rotation which includes burgers, fries, hot dogs, chicken wings, beef satays, falafel, beef fillet, pizza, fish fingers and so on. We feel the fact that we serve everything from burgers and fries to tandoori chicken to greek lamb with spinach and artichokes shows the diversity of our menu and our desire to cater to all guests whether they are looking for imaginative high end dining or simple fast food flavors.

That being said we appreciate that it is impossible to cater to 100% of guest preferences 100% of the time and that is why we invite all of our guests to please tell us if they are having trouble with the food. We will be happy to take whatever steps necessary to insure their satisfaction. Simply put guests on all inclusive at the Sultan Gardens should never have to order in food.

Thank you again and we hope you will return soon.

Best Regards

“Absolutely brilliant staff really polite”

Just back from Sharm with my husband. The staff i cannot fault at all. A special mention to Abdul from the quiet pool bar who was outstanding throughout our stay and Mohammed the quiet pool attendant who was exceptionaly friendly and very helpful and really made our stay very comfortable, nothing was never any trouble for either of them and always had a smile but all the staff throughout the entire hotel were really friendly and polite. The rooms were clean but could do with a little updating and the Hotel itself was very clean. Before we got to sharm i emailed for the bus to pick us up from the airport and when we got outside he was standing there waiting, thats service for you!
There is building works going on there but this did not disturb the holiday at all.
Basel the owner came round to people 3 times during the course of the holiday and asked if everything was ok which my husband and i found remarkable as we had never experienced this before as we have stayed in a few hotels around the world.
The Hotel is a cab ride away (90 egyptian pounds return) from Naama Bay and Soho Square so if you like walking anywhere not the hotel for you. The private beach is well serviced with plenty of sun beds as are all the four pools and getting a bed was never a problem. The food we found was really good with plenty of choices for everyone. The drinks were good too nothing wrong with the beer i had cocktails which tasted fine to me. All in all a fantastic value for money hotel with fantastic staff i would definitely recommend going to this hotel

“memorable holiday”

Just returned from our third stay at sultan gardens and it has got better every time.
My best friend and I love the Sultan as it is spacious plenty of bars and a disco the white disco was good fun. The rooms are clean and reasonable. The food is probably one of the main reasons we return year after year. I dont understand how even the most fussy of people can not find something to eat

The staff are all welcoming and we were suprised that some of the orginal staff remembered us. By day 2 they know what you are drinking. They animation team this year were fantastic and the micheal jackson show on a sunday night was outstanding.

We were fortunate to be invited to high tea with the manager Basel and it was nice to be asked of our opinion of the hotel as they are always trying to improve. In our opinion sultan is a fantastic place to relax and have a fun week in the sun and cant wait to return next year
