Came back just over a week ago, we stayed at the beach side resort and had a really lovely time there.
The staff were ever so friendly they really couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast is served until 11am, which is great as the last thing you want to do on hols is have to get up super early every day.
The hotel has several restaurants , it is expensive to eat out in Sharm, but I think most of the half decent - not going to give you a dodgy belly places are expensive, its worth it to not be ill!
The beach is very nice, it does get busy and I found that the quieter side of the beach was the left side (facing the water) , you could even sneak into the other hotels beach areas as they all use the same colour towels!!!
Snorkelling was lovely there, you need those water shoes as the coral is very rough to walk over.
The shop owners in Sharm hassled and hassled us as we walked past, some of them were fine and even let you browse in their shops without saying anything to you, but then others were a pain, carry on walking past dont say anything to them , cos once they've got you in a conversation your there for ages!!
Fish in Egypt was lovely, all fresh and cooked on the grill with garlic and herbs mmmm :O)
We did go on the Ras Mohammad trip which was lovely, but we saw more fish by the hotel, if you walk / swim around the corner to the sonesta beach part there are loads and loads of different fish there.
Hope you have a fab time!
