“1st visit was excellent... 2nd visit was far from it!!”
This was our 2nd visit to the hotel (the first review I actually rated it as excellent), unfortunately the management and many staff have now been replaced and the I hate to say it but this hotel needs closing down.

-->Theft!! During our stay several people were robbed of money, laptops, phones, ipads, etc... it was happening every other day and the thieves used keys to get in the rooms/safety deposit boxes which means that they worked there!!! So many people were robbed that people were locking all of their items away in suitcases and checking on rooms constantly. We left our latch on the door every day after the cleaner had been in and people were still trying to force our door open.
-->all inclusive is only 10am-10pm which we knew about but this year the staff were so rude that they refused to serve you for half an hour at a time. Standing at the bar (whilst the staff do nothing but pretend to clean) for half an hour in 45 degree heat is not good service. The staff would often backchat and be awkward just to cause problems. Even the manager admitted that some of the bar staff were lazy.
-->The food is repetitive and like every other person I got ill and had to take 4 sets of tablets to be able to keep fluids down. The bar staff do not wash the plastic glasses and so you are given glasses that have been used by someone else. They change the management team on a weekly basis.... even the new Food and Beverage Manager left after 3 days as he was disgusted in the hotel.

-->They now have ice creams and a separate bar inside the hotel but you have to pay (even though you are all inclusive!!!) you also have to pay for water... some nationalities were allowed to fill their water bottles in the dining room but unfortunately the English guests were always stopped.
We will never return to this hotel and conversations with previous managers have confirmed my view that this hotel needs to be shut down. The owner needs to understand that instead of spoiling his guests with gorgeous food and drinks at private tables (whilst us 2nd class guests sit there from the pool and watch) he needs to be putting his money into improving this hotel before it gets shut down.
