I'm 21 and went with my gf in May 08.
I recently visited this hotel, and it was a disaster from day one!! I read these reviews before going and i honestly thought it was OAPs complaining.
Firstly our room had no balcony, no windows, a bare old brick wall behind our one inch thick mattress, the air conditioning controller was cellotaped to the wall and our toilet seat and shower was broken. I wasn't too woried about the room, because i didn't realise how much time i would spend in it!
The food was terrible, same every day and very little variety, also we had dirty plates and cups, and had to pay for orange juice.
There were hardly any sunbeds around the pool, and we had to get up at 7 in the morning to get some.
The beach was unbelievable, it must have been about 30 feet long, and covered in umbrellas, no room to sunbave or even breath! We paid for another beach for the whole time.
In the evening of the first night, i got very ill and took loads of tablets and eventually had to have an injection to stop me bein sick. Once i had stopped being sick, i then had diahorrea for the rest of the week, great!
The waiters and employees also forced themselves on my gf when i wasn't around.
Also one night i plucked the courage to go to Nama Bay, and left within one minute of being there, the egyptians just won't take no for an answer, and they get very aggressive if you don't go into their shop to 'sign their book', what a load of rubbish!!! You get horrible comments made at you, and get harrassed like mad!
Don't go there!!!!! I was shocked at how bad this hotel was, i could never see myself writing a review, but i simply had to.
