We stayed at the coral sea resort from the 1st of december to the 15th. We had a nice room my mum and dad had a huge double bed but i had a camp bed with wheels and it moved when you was sleeping which was funny but i werent that fussed about a bed. It was clean but a bit dated like the mirror was broke around the edges and the bed side cabinet was all dented and stained. The swimming pool was lovely there was one heated one and one freezing cold one which not alot of people went in there and there was a lil pool for children under 5. The staff were lovely and friendly but i had one well two problems with some there was a photographer there and he never stopped taking pictures of me im only 13 and it really got on my nerves and in that country they can do pretty much what they want so even though i asked him 2 stop following me around he still did which kinda anoyed me. The entertainment was so BAD that it was funny there dances are chorographed but a complete idiot called oscar and he is the rudest person you will properly meet. When we arrived a few days later a few new entertainment people arrived caroline, debby and GiGi they were so talented they made my holiday they were so much nicer than the other lot although sam the man is lovely. There is only one entertainment room for the whole resort and as its rubbish its never full up. The last night i was there the entertainment was ment 2 be comedy well i would'nt call to people on the floor under a sheet having sex comedy there were kids watching that and they were horrified the bloke took all his clothes off apart from his pants and the girl had her pyjamas on there were a few personal problems between the entertainment team but most people didnt take any notice. My family and i met loads of lovely people there and we still stay in contact. One person out of the whole hotel stood out and that was GiGi he was AMAZING you will never meet anyone more fun and lovely he is egyption and i really hope Oscar the manager of entertainment nocks his confidence because he was soo funny he made everyone laugh and made my holiday the food was boring thats all i can say hehe but overall it was a lovely time x

Coral Sea Oriental Resorts

Coral Sea Oriental Resort Sharm El Sheikh
October 9th – 16th 2008
My Wife And I Had Never Been To Egypt Before But Hopefully We Will Be
Back At Coral Sea Oriental Resort Next October.
The Hotel Was Beautifully Clean The Gardens Tidy And Tended Everyday And
ALL The Staff Were Very Happy And Friendly Which I Find At All Inclusive Hotels
Sometimes Is Missing.
The Food Was Excellent Each Night With The Usual Buffet Type Choice’s But Also A Variety Of Cooked Dishes, Freshly Cooked For You While You Waited.
A Fresh Kebab Was Available Each Night And An Outside Barbecue Was Available On 3 Nights Per Week.
Eating During The Day Was Also A Pleasure Seating Outdoors Looking Out To Sea
Or Inside In Main Dining Area To Escape The Sun.
On A Hot Afternoon Nothing Can Beat Swimming Up To The Bar For A Cold Beer..
All Inclusive Beer In Spain Is Usually Undrinkable After A Day Or Two But I Can Say I Enjoyed The Beer Everyday Of Our Stay Especially By The Pool When Somedays It Was Draft And Other Days Bottled Beer Served.

I have just returned from this hotel having been there from 1st to 8th December 2008 with my wife and two other couples.
I had never been to Egypt before and was somewhat sceptical of how I would find it and was sure that I would come down with something, there was absolutely no need to worry as we had a great week and I would certainly go back at this time of the year as the temperature of around 80 degrees was just right for me with the almost constant gentle breeze.
From arriving you are made to feel welcome and special and it is clear that all the staff wish to make your stay a special and memorable one,the hotel scores highly in this respect.
The food is reasonable good although it was disappointing to find no ice cream in the buffet restaurant as the choice of sweets was basic
There evening entertainment is also basic and it normally takes place in the Irish Bar,which has no resemblance of an Irish Bar and must be the only one in the world without guiness!
There is an English Bar out of the complex at the front and the trip into Nama Bay is a must at night and anybody doing so should take a night of the all inclusive and go to the Tandoori Restaurant in the Camel Hotel,it is superb.
If I had any moans it would be that there was loads of flies about making life on the sunbeds uncomfortable and the choice of boom boom music around the pool was an unfortunate choice when most of the neighbouring hotels featured something a bit more gentle and in keeping with the culture.
The rooms were of a good size and clean and were kept so by the staff for the duration of our stay.
All in all good value for money and a must try for anybody who is becoming fed up with Canaries Winter Sun like me

Recentley got back from the Coral Sea, the main thing I can say is what a great holiday. From the check in up until the check out, a day never went by when my family and I didn't enjoy ourselves. When you walk through the reception when you first arrive, in my opinion you would think you've just walked into a palace. The rooms are very spacious and clean along with the rest of the hotel. The pools are great, one heated with entertainment the other without. We always stayed around the quieter pool which there was always sunbeds available. They also have big red beanbags dotted around which you can use outside. Both pools each have a pool bar, but I have to mention Mohaned (Ned) the bar man at our pool. He will top up your drinks non stop, make sure you didn't go without anything and really made our holiday a great one. There are some jetties along the beach, one just across from the hotel which goes out about 150m which the majority of the way you can still stand up when in the sea. The food is ok, always bear in mind that you are in an all inclusive hotel so will never be great, but there is always something to suit everyone from freshly made pizzas to freshly cut meat. Finleys Irish bar is good, the waiters are always working hard to make sure you've always got a drink to hand. I wouldn't say the entertainment is great but some of the stuff they put on does make it a good night. Also done a trip to CleoPark which is a waterpark the reps can book for you, amazing day! They take pictures of you going on all rides which you can then buy on disc for about £15. Me and my Fiance went to the Italian on our anniversary, you only pay for your drinks and the food was good. There's also a Peking Chinese out of the entrance and to your left which we went to twice it was that good! Along that stretch of road is a McDonalds, KFC, Starbucks and coming soon a TGI Fridays. If going to Naama bay, brace yourselves for the shop keepers wanting you to go into there stores, just say no thankyou if you don't want to go in and they will be fine. All the staff get to know you and are always saying hello when passing and are so friendly. All in all had a fab time and can't wait to go back again next year, anyone booked up will have a great time and really enjoy themselves so don't worry if read any bad reviews.

Stayed at the Coral Sea Resort from 20/Nov-27/Nov and what a great hotel and holiday the missus and I had. This was a good choice for us. As soon as we arrived in the hotel we were greeted with a glass of orange juice and while we were checking in at reception, our bags were being taken upto our rooms. Once we opened the door to our room we were both quite shocked to see how big the rooms actually were and a nice big kingsize bed. Everything was clean in our rooms, we had a problem with a leaking shower, but as soon as I reported this to reception within 5 to 10 mins it was fixed with no extra tip.

The pool areas were fantastic and very clean, we mostly stayed around the quieter pool out of the 2 which was very relaxing. The beach is lovely too.

The food was nice with a lot of different choices everyday, but I did tend to have egg on toast every morning for breakie, so say hello to Aly for me. The staff work sooooo hard in the restaurant to make sure that everyone is perfectly satisfied.

All the staff at the Coral Sea work very hard to keep everyone happy and to keep everything as clean as possible.

We would definately stay at the Coral Sea Resort again.
