“What A Fantastic Holiday!!!!!!”

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday at the St George Three Corners Hotel.
All the staff - reception, bar, waiters, cleaners, pool attendants, animation and even the gardeners were extremely friendly, helpful and made you feel very welcome. We had heard mixed reviews about Egypt and SharmEl Sheikh but can honestly say the Egyptian people are one of the nicest we have met.
We will definatley return.
A tip for you - you must go on the City Tour provided by the hotel and organised by the lovely Guest Relations chap, for just £5 we were taken around Sharm and visited a local Mosque, the first orthodox church, Fantasia (what a place), a shopping centre and the monument erected in memory of the victims of the plane crash. It was very well organised, very informative and gave a instight into a different side of Egypt which you would not neccessarily see. Well worth every single penny!!
The food was of a very good standard, the entertainment staff tried very hard both during the day to motivate holidaymakers that just want to lay around and at night tried hard to entertain us with shows (hello to lager lager & Asam!!). I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would strongly recmmend a visit into Naama Bay for an interesting, busy, fun filled night out.
We thoroughly enjoyed ur stay and will return!!

This is one of the best holidays we have had. staff are so friendly , i recommend that if you plan to do trips that you do the ones that are through the hotel as you will find they are better value and way way more enjoyable than ones run by tour operators.

Firstly as i'm a new member to "trip adviser" i'll give you a little background, married with children, we love going to sharm-el-sheikh, it's the kids favourite holiday destination so far, ben all through spain, france, florida, dominican republic.

Right let's get on with it, This was our 6th visit to sharm in 18 months, yes we love it. We usually stay at "child friendly" hotels as it's less hastle for us. the 3 corners well where do i start???

Upon arrival at the sharm airport (which can only be compared to the new terminal at gatwick) we are used to it (6 times remember) we then managed to escape with our luggage , lovly hot weather as always. 36 degrees,we then were taken to our "hotel" . Upon arrival the hotel looked awful, no private road to it no palm trees etc, however it's inside thet counts, right! we entered the hotel with people moaning(not good sign) no welcome drink?? come on this is sharm we always have a glass of orange upon arrival, Filled out necessary forms and were given key to room, room hhmmmmmmmmm, it was dark till you shut the door and inserted the card in the slot, then, well inspector morse would have loved it, the amount of filthy fingerprints on the inside of the door that was painted white was simply overwhelming, needed a drink?, yes you have bottled water "bakara" it's the cheap crap 5p a litre, we picked up the "frosted" glass to pour, but wait they were not frosted after all , ahhh the cleaner must have wiped them out with his floor cloth, nice touch.
Day 2 breakfast, horrible!! usual warm dried up stuff in those containers, cereal with flies attached, not enough room pushy holiday makers, ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!

I went to see the manager, who was a nice guy looked like chevy chase, Gave him this avalanche of problems we had encountered so far, told him we had also been to, reef oasis, hilton, coral sea, park inn,jaz mirabel and this was the worst so far, i felt much better! now, read carefully what i'm about to write, HE AGREED WITH ME. told me this hotel was not as good as any of the other ones that i had been to , bearing in mind 4 of the hotels were 4 star same as this one, he did offer to paint our room, to which i declined, got a free upgrade though to a much better slightly cleaner room. The main food is served in the "princessa restaurant" it has alcohol dispensers out side which i used, majority of people did not. food is great of you have no taste or are drunk as this is the key ingredient of this hotel. spinach pie anyone?? out of reception turm right 300yards on the left is a nice english restaurant full of customers from the st george, did i say it was NOT an english hotel but a belgian one!!
pools very small, sunloungers packed close together, just terrible.

i will keep my ace till the very end.

so location very poor. food terrible, rooms not cleaned well.mozzies everywhere , i'll tell you why at the end.

you may agree or disagree with me it's your choice, remember i have been to sharm 6 times, now the brochure, airtours, thompson, please could anyone tell me exactly where in the brochure that this hotel is situated next to "SHARM-EL-SHEIK SEWERAGE WORKS!!!!", thats where all the flies, and mosquito's come from, First thing every morning they "seperate"
the solids from the liquids, treat the liquid,(that's a laugh) then spray you know what on the land, we spoke to a couple who had to soak the towels in the bath then wedge them into the door frames to try and stop their morning fragerance.
as i said up to you, oh one last thing, the hotel is overbooked by 30 rooms, that means if you are one of the lucky ones to be transferred to the "kiroseiz" do it, the food is crap there also but it's much better, and it's a 5 star.

would i go back? does a camel smell like roses?

“You'll book St George and then get moved to Kiroseiz..be warned!”

Three Corners Saint George

I didn.t actually mange to stay at this hotel. I booked it and even changed my holiday dates from 2nd April to 1st May to get into this hotel and less than 48 hours before we flew we were changed to the Three corners Kiroseiz. It had terrible reviews and when we got there met lods of people that had been moved due to St Geogre over booking.

I'm guessing they do that because St George has such great reviews and Kiroseiz such bad ones that they over book the good one and move you last minute so they're stil making money withi the hotel chain,

Just wanted to warn people before they book that if you only want to stay at the St George (like I did) be careful as you may get let down. On the very plus size the Three Corners Kirosiez is lovely. Has 6 pools, brand new rooms and briliant food...thank god!!

Oh also i had e-mailed the headoffice for Three Corners the week before travelling asking for a travel cot and e-mailed them when I booked initially asking when they next had rooms available and then replied saying I'd booked for 1st May so contacting them in advance didn't make any difference to the move.

as it was very hot checked in then went to our room the bell boy came up with our cases we tipped him and he was very happy . the room was a fare size and was in a nice quiet spot room (2116) away from everything we were very happy as we emailed the week before to ask for a quiet room .the resturant is big and the food was lovely a good choice to choose from and the cakes and choices of desserts were lovely to also in morning the was a great choice for breakfast as well(ossama )was on the egg station he made really good omelettes and fried eggs food was brillant . staff were fantastic always on the go they work there butts off very friendly indeed couldn't ask for anymore 100/100 for there service . our cleaner was called faysel he was nice as well he made us lovely towel information we headed to the desert going fast over bumps i was lucky i had a handle to hold on too (lol) the others didnt so u were bumping about everywhere we stopped at 1st bedioum tent for some local info about the place then went back in jeeps and stopped off at second tent had some of there tea and bread which i didn't like bought our head scarfs for the next ride which was the camels (ahhh) we were a bit scared getting on them but once you were on it was ok you were on them for about 40 mins we paid 10 egypt pounds for the camel ride which is a £1 our money. we headed up to next tent it was abit scary getting off the other mohamed had his camcrder with him so this was fun to as you can buy dvd which cost us £20 our money he dropped it off at hotel next night we stopped off at our last tent had our lunch and drinks then we headed off to dahab for snorkling but we didnt go in we sat at bar and had a drink it was alovely beach very very warm i forgot to say in our jeep we had the driver and armed guard as well we were in last jeep also there was a arm guard in the first jeep to. our driver was quite annoying as he pestered me all day very touchy in deed but after a while you got used to it then we put money together in envelope for a tip for our driver the got dropped off at hotel great experiance .we went down to st georges beach for the day but only lasted about an hour as soon as i got there the guy who sells massgaes wouldnt leave me alone either he gave me a free hand massage which lasted about 20 mins i was embarsed as he wanted me to take my sun glasses off but i insisted not to he was alovely guy good looking but just wouldnt take a telling so we got on the free bus back up to hotel .we went to nama bay a few times as well on free bus the men pester you down there to but you get used to it as well shops are very nice to you can sit and watch the whirling devish dancers on the bars at top of shops (think thats what thee are called) they spin around for about 30 mins without stopping and spin there skirts over there head and other stuff they got on as well it brilliant .we also done the city tour with mr sammi who works at hotel he is a really nice bloke knows everything we set off to a church then to a monastry, fantasia (shopping centre)then we sat at a venue were there is a show u can book via the hotel which costs £17 and you get a lovely meals then so many shows after it which is worth the cash by the time we found out it was too late for us to book as we were going home next day we also visted a memorial as a few years ago there was a plane crash so they built this to remeber them it is lovely its got lovely doves like the reaching up to the sky down by the water we also seen the beautiful fish in the water , the water is so clear then we headed back up to hotel this was well worth the £5 it was amazing the entertainment was ok we sat at quiet pool it was peaceful there also there are many water barrels you can fill up from around hotel we were lucky as we never got any mozzie bitesi have nothing to complain about it was a fantastic next time round i will be taking all the family as they will love it and will be returning to st georges 3 corners one more thing if you intend to take the bong home you better put it in your suitcases as we got stopped at airport as you not aloud to take them in your hand luggage as there is signs up but we got stopped and the guy showed us them on x- ray but he put them on the floor then said on you go it dont matter thank god we said as we were panicing they also search through ppl suitcases and hand luggage to we were lucky they didnt do ours (lol) food very dear at airport i was £4 in our money for 2 cans of pepsi they wanted £5 our money for a tub of pringles also taxi drivers are mad the beep at you all the time and ask if you need a taxi well thats all for now hope you enjoy reading my review a nd looking at my pictures
