Firstly we thought it was a good choice as the complex had 11 restaurants and 12 bars......... problem was we were assigned to two restaurants and two bars, and unless you were booked in the other hotels on the complex you could not use facilities. You could pay for other bars, but why should you a beer is a beer in the end.

We were even told where to sit on the beach, Security were on you if you moved !!!!

Clean (ish) when I get over the food posioning (had for last three days) probably due to luke warm food, sure it was nice food once when it was hot...

They should also invest in some new CD's listening to the christmas CD looped all day in March was painfull.

Please can you tell me why no one mentioned the prays that was belted out through loud speakers at several times of the day starting at 05:30. It is very annoying, I could only image what its like when your kids get woken up each morning. What a nightmare. Plus points. I thought that Domina time is a great idea. The hotels clocks are set an hour earlier so you get more daylight and sun. The staff where very nice except the cleaner bothered us 4 times regarding a leaving tip. The food was very good and you had a choice of five buffet style restaurants.This place is huge with lots of bars and swimming pools but Harem customers could only drink at two bars unless they paid and they where rather dull. You could not swim in all the pools either. I would rate this place as a four star at best. Yes our second room had a jacuzzi but there was no tea and coffee facilities and no iron or board. There are more minus than pluses and I enjoyed my time there but would not recomend it to people.

Forget reviews which give this less than a 4star rating. If youve booked to go you will have a great time!!

We were 3 couples who went for 5 days from manchester. Excel airlines , definately classed as a budget air line & those seats and leg room were budget sized too- quite squeezed!! Those leather seats arent comfy at all!!

You go to a reception depending where you stay i.e Oasis and Aquamarine are the main reception which are grand considering these are rated 3 star, Harem is rated 5star but recep. area is much more compact (unusual you'd think for a 5 star) -Look out for George on desk he is good!! Our flight back was in evg and we got all 3 rooms extended for check out to 3.00pm no charge. There is a bar area where you can seat and enjoy free drinks (all inc) Think Barman is called Assan -always smiling.

Rooms are Big and great. You Get 2 water and 2 fizzy drinks topped up everyday in your mini fridge . it has a free safe deposit box. To set, open door, put your hand at hte back of the door on hinge side and find the button. follw instructions-Sea is in walking distance or take a tuk-tuk. Use the floating pools and can check out fish with snorkel or just like on the floats and feel the waves under you.. weather is great just a little chilly at nght a little cardi is good idea.

Spice Restaurent is your main one to use all inc and foods great and good staff just ask and they will help. free drinks in the area. Local beer is good, spirits are limited and are local eg vodka, rum, whisky etc..

Its a huge resort so you can pay at some places ot on your all inc. for a meal eg we went for a pizza at rest. think its tratoria pizzeria -its all in open in huts type of design. U get a discount as an all inc guest at harem, So we ordered starter, pizza , wine, beers etc for 6 people and the bill came to £20!!.for 6.

There is a gala perforamnce night foods inc. but you pay for drinks thats where they make money- beers will set you £3.50 per bottle think 500ml wines per bottle about £15-20. Show was OK.-not brilliant

Taxis from reception to Naama bay cost about £6.00 and is convenient. Airport is 10-15mins away, The advantage is taxi will take you and drop you back to resort, if you take cab from outside taxis drop you at gate then you wait for tuk tuk to take you to reception

You have own pool area, bar all inc. loads of Russians but I found them no problem.

Had a couple staying at Harem celebreting Birthday who paid extra to upgrade to Prestige Restaurants for 3nths- so what do you want to do?

This had been removed from the inclusive list and cost us $80
Free Laundry but....
This had been removed from the inclusive list and cost us 12EL per item
Free Room Service but....
This had been removed from the inclusive list and had to be paid for
Alcohol in minibar but....
This had been removed from the inclusive list and is now 2 bottles of water and 3 cans of soft drink each day, any extra has to be paid for
Free Snorkel Hire but.....
This is not included anymore
Various restaurants to eat at but.....
The restaurants included in the inclusive list had been removed and we had to pay for our meals the main one you can eat at serves the same food and after 3 days you are sick to the teeth of eating the same stuff!
Late checkout if required but.....
This had been removed from the inclusive list and would now cost 8 Euro an hour after 11.00am. When we asked about this we were told we could not stay later as our room was required.
Transfer time but....
This was advertised as 20mins but was in fact 1 1/2hours as there were multiple drop off points for other hotels

Arrival
Upon arrival we found the resort had their own time “Domina Time” which is an hour ahead of Egypt time. After checking in we were told we had ten minutes before the bar closed and would have to get food from room service if we wanted to eat as everything closed at midnight.

Room
Room paid for was a Deluxe room but we were taken to a Standard room compromising of two single beds joined together. We found that the toilet was broken and we had to remove the lid to stop if from continually flushing. I had to fix the “4 Poster frame” at 2.00am on night of arrival, as one corner was hanging and ready to drop. Bathroom had a light hanging out of the ceiling and the shower head would not work because it was lime scaled up

Day after arrival
Monday 5th Nov was basically spent trying to sort out the room, fixtures that required repairing and contacting Libra travel rep who tried to rectify our complaints. We were informed that we had been given a standard room and that there were no spare Deluxe rooms. This upset my girlfriend a great deal as we had saved up all year for this break.

This holiday was nothing like the one we had been sold. The first week was spent in a standard room instead of Deluxe.We found sleeping across two single beds to cause me immense discomfort and ended up needing painkillers everyday so could not even take advantage of the free alcohol.

We both feel that we were sold a holiday that was false and the brochure to be untrue in what it detailed. Even the “Short gentle walk” to the beach is a steep walk down a hill involving steps to a manmade beach that you can’t walk out into the sea.

The hotel was clean the staff friendly but seriously go half board and buy your food it will be better in the long run. The bar man at the pool (Boyles) made us laugh everytime we were there and the weather fantastic. Would we go again? maybe but not with Libra tour operators they are the worst ever!
