Travelled to Egypt last April with my husband and two children. Hotel and grounds were absolutely beautiful and the majority of staff could not do enough for you. After our second day we all developed sickness and dioriahh, as did many of the other guest we spoke to. Were told by the resident doctor that it was gastro enteritis, immodium had no effect. Not so sure myself, food was awful, and the activity pool was hotter than you could imagine, a breeding ground for germs! Three or four people were bed bound and on drips to re-hydrate them. My husband was so ill, a week and a half after returning home that his doctor was considering admitting him to hospital. And if that was not enough, I jumped into the pool playing an organised game of volleyball and cut the ball of my foot open on a broken tile resulting in me having six stitches and leaving me unable to do anything.
Would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. BEWARE!
