Just returned from three corners had a fantastic time staff could not do enough for you.The rooms were cleaned every day clean towels every day the pool area was spotless food was a bit repetitive but you expect that on all inclusive.beach is nice you have a choice of either laying by pool or on the beach you need sand shoes to enter the sea its a bit stoney but worth going in just to see all the fish you dont even have to snorkel most of them swim round you bit scary at first some pretty big fish.only thing i diden't like is they should inclued the beach bar in the all inclusive.went to petra good excursion but very tiring you need to be fit we booked with sammy who sits by the pool bar he gave us the best deal and we tried them all it cost us £88 each.I would not go here if i were not all inclusive it is expensive we arrived after all inc had finished for the night small beer and a small glass of fanta orange £4.shopping dont use the shop just as you come out of reception if you smoke L&M 30$ round back of hotel marios supermarket 9.50$ sand shoes in marios are only 6$ all in all enjoyed every minute.take american dollars not egyptian pounds you get a better deal.

“Excellent value for money - Great staff”

We have just returned from 2 weeks at 3 corners, dont believe the negative reports some people have written, I think some people like to find fault with anything. The hotel is very clean, good food , obviously it wont be like food back home but there was always something different. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough for you, say Hi, to our mate Andy the young waiter who is very good and will go far I bet in his job. The animation team do an excellent job and work long hours and are brilliant with the children. Taba itself is a very relaxing place, if your looking for night life and lots of shopping , maybe its not for you, but if you want relaxation, hot weather (over 40 degrees), lovely warm sea, fantastic snorkelling and diving, some good restaurants Down Town, recommend the Thai and Pub Tandoori, excellent value and ideally placed. Book now you wont be disappointed.

Travelled to Taba on 27 May 08 after delayed flight. On arrival at hotel were shown straight to restaurant which staff had kept open for us. Although we were offered an upgrade on checking in, staff weren't pushy and luggage was taken to our room.

Generally the hotel is very clean and well kept with ample sun loungers. The food was sometimes repetative and labelling left a lot to be desired, especially when you have a vegetarian in the family, but mainly what you would expect in an all inclusive package.

The snorkelling is amazing, but would recommend buying some kind of footwear as there are rocks near the shoreline.

Would recommend getting a visa at the airport on arrival and travelling to Cairo. Did the overland trip which was very exhausting but well worth it. You really can't go to Egypt and not see the pyramids! Really wish we had booked 2 weeks as there are plenty of places to see (Jerusalem, Petra, St Catherines monastery....)

Overall, a great holiday, friendly people, good value for money made even better by making friends with a lovely family (Emma, Andy and kids).

I'm all for making informed decisions but at the end of the day, your holiday is mainly what you make of it!

To start this review I would like to say a big hello to the friends I met via TA, Dave is was nice to meet you thanks for the advice and the cold beers on the first night. And to Donna and family hope you got back home OK.

Check in was very quick, we arrived 3 hours late and were the first to be seen.

The room:

Was very very good, we got a free upgrade by FC to a senior suite, two rooms, with a double for us and two singles for the kids, we had a TV in our room with various channels including 3/4 for us English, it was good to relax for a hour or two before we went out for dinner, the room was cleaned every day, although once they did not leave any toilet paper one day and I had to go up the market and get some.

The pool:

The pool was a good size and the kids loved it, was a little cold and very good to get into from the heat. We had no trouble getting a bed (we tipped the pool guy a couple of pound on the first day) every day we had the same spot, unless we told him that we were going to the beach, then he would keep a spot clear near the back upon our return.

The Bar:

Very hot, with no A/C, staff was very good, local beer very gassy, if you wanted a short, no problems but came only with full fat mixers. I have read on others reviews that people complained of the wait, the bar staff were very quick and people only has a very small wait imo.

The Beach:

Short journey from the hotel on the bus, took you down to the beach, we did not eat at the beach but we did have a drink a couple of times, the wife and I had a beer, which we had to pay for and the then she asked for a two cans of diet coke, now on their website it states that soft drinks are part of the AI, this is not the case, we had to pay for canned drinks, this was the same throughout the hotel which in my opinion is wrong, the post mix was free(full fat). The beach itself was OK, just take beach shoes for when you get into the sea, The sea life was fantastic its was so so good, but please take note that we never swam in the red sea and not around any coral, for us it was great, my son and I spent hours in there looking at the parrot fish and many other types.

The Food:

School dinners is a little cruel but sometimes it felt like that, lots of choice and not to repetitive, soups very good, the staff in there were great, we tipped Andy on the first day and he could not do enough for us, we had the same table every day, not too much queuing, but we like to take our time over a meal and not rush so not a problem for us.

The staff:

All in all very good, yes we had to tip them, but I chose to do this because of the lack of income that they get, I took £30.00 in pound coins and they got this and maybe a little more over the week. Look out for Andy in the restaurant along with Salad as we called him, very good, Mo in the bar worked very hard a small tip and he will feel you glass up without even asking, The pool guy very good and ardmed(sp) at the pool bar a very very nice guy. All you need to do is say please and thank you and this goes a long long way.

The resort:

Taba heights is very quiet, I knew this before we left so I can’t complain about this, if anyone is concerned about security don’t be there are guards every where, for me a little too quiet.

Tipping:

These guys in the hotel work very hard for very little money so a tip goes a long way and can help with getting things a little bit quicker.

I cant believe we stayed in same hotel at the same time the food was good we didnt have a cold meal plenty to eat found the staff very friendly and couldnt do enough for you, yes the peanuts bar does have a strange smell simple take your drink and sit outside. our room was lovely n clean. the animation team are like any animation team in the world pretty awful mind you i dont want to be entertained i can do that myself. belgians and germans are naturally rude anyway its not the hotels fault. pool and bar staff were excellent although we didnt sit at poolside everyday its cooler on the beach where the food was good but you do have to pay for it £3-£5 but it tells you that in the brochure drinks are free. snorkeling is best done at the hyatt hotel pier .redsea waterworld is the best dive centre in the world (maybe) if you want excursions go see max in reception a trip to petra was about £30 cheaper than first choice it was very well organised all in all we loved it and going back soon BONUS
