I had booked for three summer package for my family for 5 Days & Four Night as per the details given on your website. Kindly take a note on the following points:
FIRST POINT - One of the family in the Group was allotted Room No. 407 (Double Deluxe Room) which had damp wall & no electricity. The AC was not working properly. On several requests no one from the maintenance or house keeping was interested to take up the complaint finally on the second day when the guest started shouting & threatened to check out, the house keeping in charge intervened & shifted the guest to Room No. 401 which was a Superior Room with extra bed (as the hotel did not had any free dbl room & the maintenance was unable to rectify the electricity problem). But we adjusted.
SECOND POINT – The package was inclusive of a half day sight seeing followed by boat cruse. Every thing was fine except the boat cruse seating category in which the package guests were put which was a general category with very congested seating in theater style . Each of the guest in the group upgraded their seats to attic round table seating by paying Rs. 100/- per guest.
THIRD POINT – The room refrigerators were stacked with expired drinks which we noticed after consuming the breezers which were expired two months back. For this I would have definitely sued the resort, if Indian judiciary was prompt or I had that much of free time.
FOURTH POINT – The package included daily one hour cocktail (in house brand liquor) at bar which if I am right was “The Tea Lounge & Bar”. But we were again being fooled here. When we were seated in the bar, we were very politely told that the package drinks will be served at the Sea Shell Restaurant. Without retaliating we went to the Sea Shell Restaurant which was more of an open air restaurant. But on every step I was felt cheated & humiliated by the hotel. The staff in the restaurant told us that the seating for package drinks guests was laid at a separate place. And the place was towards the outer side of the restaurant with literally no light & no fan. The seating was so odd with no napkins, no flower pot, no ash tray, no dining spread. We felt as if the package guests are unwanted guests whom from whom you have taken all the payments well in advance & they have to stay & enjoy their vacations at the hotels disposal. We visited the seashell restaurant twice in our five day stay & were had to order food (even though we had our dinner in the package) forcibly to take proper seating.
FIFTH POINT – During our checkout, we settled all our bills & were seating in the lobby for taxi. One of your executive came up very awkwardly with a bill of Rs. 40/- against mini bar, which as per them was missed in the total billing.
SIXTH POINT – We called up for two taxis on our check out day through the hotel for Murgaon City, to visit some restaurant so that we could enjoy some Goan sea food which was never in the buffet apart from the squid which used to be their in every meal. The hotel called up two taxis. Our guests were seated in the taxi. When the taxi person knew that we are not interested for shopping but wished to visit a restaurant he asked us to get out of the taxi & wait for other taxi to come. We had very hot arguments on this issue for which the hotel came up with a solution that they will call another taxies for us.
Kindly do let us know, if your hotel was least interested to entertain the package guests, then why did they sell these packages.
I am also a tourism professional but am shocked with an attitude like this to a guest who is trusting your services, quality, paying you for every thing in advance but being cheated & humiliated one every stage.
I am a regular holiday maker & I am very sorry to state that this was my worst, worst, worst holiday experience. Today I am feeling that I have wasted my time & money on such a disastrous holiday

a) Room booked by Travel Agent Columbus Journey was two Superior Deluxe and one Superior Room. Thus, allotted the same.
b) Electricity tripped on 11/4/08 at 1738 hrs. The same was corrected at 1800 hrs. The breakdown of electricity is beyond our control.
c) 12/4/08, guest complained of pedestal light not working at 1215 hrs. and was repaired by 1340 hrs.
d) Guest found air-conditioning was not too effective. We shifted him to another room immediately.
e) We do not have exclusive boat for the river cruising and we share the boat alongwith others for our package guests.
f) We arrange the free cocktails at the Seashell Restaurant which is close to the sea. The guests prefer to sit in an open area and therefore this arrangement has been made. We do have paper napkins on the tables. However, ashtrays are not put as per the Government's instructions to discourage smoking, is provided only on request.
g) We have checked all the Minibars as well as our General Stores to see if any expired drinks are there. The breezers were expiring on 23/4/08 which is later than guests stay at the Resort.
h) After settling the bills, the drinks consumed from the Minibars were billed.
i) Regarding the taxi, there was one more family waiting and total four taxis were called which led to the misunderstanding between our staff and taxi drivers.
j) Our packages include buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner which has a wide selection of choice. However, if the guests request, we do serve food items apart from the buffet at no extra cost but excluding items like lobsters, prawns, etc.
k) We offer gift hamper consisting of cashew fenny, nuts and the clay coin.
