We are a family of 4 with a 3 year old (who can be a handful) and a 1 year old baby so adventurous holidays aren't really what we are after at the moment. We wanted a change of scene, something for everyone, a bit of relaxing, some activities etc but nothing stressful, we like a drink and love our food.
We had a great a holiday because the style, services and facilties at Club Med were really suited to us.
The rooms were fine (not perfect). Large and clean. The baby welcoming pack was great everything we needed for her was there when we arrived which meant we didn't have to hire anything. The interconnecting room allowed us a place to go while the kids slept.
We made use of the petit club for our 3 year old and all the girls that work in there were wonderful, caring and hardworking. The cost was about $30US per day thats 9:00am to 9:00pm with a break for two hours from 5:30 to 7:30pm. We didn't book but they recommend you do that because if it is busy you may miss out.
We made use of the acitvities I did golf lessons (GO Wayan put me on the right track with my short game then entertained us at night by playing Michael Jackson in their stage show) Very talented!! Cooking Demo's Water Aerobics Yoga and other things were great for us.
All the staff that worked at Club Med were friendly and helpful without fail even though they work very hard and do long hours. They were fun and energetic.
The food was great with a mix of a whole range of things that would suit most peoples tastes. Just go easy if you don't want to pay for a personal trainer when you get back!
Its a nice vibe at Club Med everyone is there for a good time and be part of what is going on and that is really nice.
