June 2011 is the second times we stayed at Padma. And the second times too we have to wait the room to be cleaned. So we have to wait in the restaurant. what we addore from this hotel are: the cleanliness, green refreshing scenery, the hot pool, and delicous meal. We always have our dinner at the hotel. It was delicious and worth money spending.

This is our second trip as a family and second time that we stay in this hotel,
We do still love it and still think its the best gate away place from the metropolit's due to its surrounding which is still cover with pure forests view, weather which is good obviously as it is located on top of the mountain, and the lobby which you can hang out with your pals and drink some beers while sitting near fireplace. Now for the negative side is its location is a bit far from restaurant and groceries (you can't walk as it is too far, so eat and buy everything you need before you reach this place as enjoying this hotel minimal a day is a must). And second negative side that i need to mention is regards to the executive rooms (the view is pretty bad and the price is more expensive). So hopefully my review will help you out. Cheers

I often visit Bandung for various purposes: business, leisure, reunion, etc. The first name of accommodation in my mind is always Padma. If I can give rank to the hotels in Bandung, it will be: 1. Padma, 2. Hilton, 3. Sheraton, 4. Holiday Inn. Only when we could not get Padma (usually because of fully booked or not enough room available because we need many rooms) we searched for other hotels.
Padma has excellent services in all lines. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are superb. Best selection of coffee and tea. My child and friends really enjoy meal times. Never been disappointed.
Tranquil place in the valley. They also provide trekking and games for children in weekend.

A friend who likes fine properties as I do recommended Padma when he learned we would be traveling to Bandung. We loved staying here, though it is quite a ways from downtown Bandung, where we had some meetings. But, we enjoyed retreating to our mountain perch, with an abundance of fresh air (when fellow guests weren't lighting up and spoiling it) and stunning vistas of the lush, verdant mountainsides.

Staff are very polite and friendly, if not always efficient.

Meals are pretty good here - the breakfast buffet is enormous and wonderful with a great selection of Western and Eastern choices. Afternoon tea leaves a lot to be desired in terms of cakes and snacks.

But overall, this is a great place to retreat to. I hope to return.

Hotel is beautiful for its eye captivating views and greenery. Service is good as staff are friendly and helpful who's always willing to go the extra mile. They never fail to greet and smile at us.

Room is superb. The views from the room every morning is simply breathtaking and that makes our day. Bed and pillows are comfy. Room service was a lil bit slow though. The porter took 45mins to bring the luggage to our room. We also ordered pizza from their room menu and that too came after 35mins. Another thing that disturbs us is the sound isolation from the room which is indeed very poor as we can hear noises everywhere, guests talking along the corridor, children shouting, babies crying, tables shuffling from above and there was a function going on that Saturday evening with music all through the night till 10pm(we were being informed of the function upon check-in). No big deal though as we enjoyed the comfort and coziness of the room.

Buffet spread during breakfast is good and delish. Afternoon tea spread do not have much varieties, mostly traditional cakes and lil sandwiches. The best indulge was their Saturday night BBQ buffet. The spread was awesome. Their Black Angus steak and ribs are fantastic and a must try not to be missed!!

On our last day, we had arranged for a drop off at the money changer and Sensa Hotel along Ciwalk, at first they wanted to charge us 90,000 IDR but they later decided to give us a complimentary ride instead. Thank You once again Padma.. You have made our stay a truly memorable, enjoyable and a fruitful one in Bandung.

We'll certainly come back again to Padma and will not hesitate to recommend others about your great service. Kudos to your staff who made it all worthwhile.. =)

Room tip: Book deluxe balcony room. View of pool and greenery is simply amazing.
