We stayed over while traveling to cooperstown. The hotel was clean. The pool and jaz. was also clean and well kept. The front staff was very acommidating. The breakfast was excellent for a contineltal breakfast. The plus was it is very near were the giants practice. over all a great stay over hotel. The staff was outstanding

Stayed at the fairfield in albany for 2 nights in May, 2004. Got a special AAA rate of $66.50 a night that was a great deal and worth every penny. The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Area was quiet and clean looking, away from the hustle and planes of Wolf road. Breakfast was very good, we had fun making our own waffles! Will stay there again next time we're in Albany. Thank you fairfield!!!

I stayed there during the fall of 2003 for a business trip. First of all, the directions on their website were incorrect. That meant I drove around in the dark in the rain searching in vain for awhile. When I told them at the front desk about this, they said they had told the main office about this problem many times to no avail. The front desk staff member who greeted me had a very unprofessional sense of humor which at this point I could not appreciate after driving hours in the rain and getting lost. The room was just fine though, clean, nice furnishings, comfortable. The continental breakfast was what you would expect and the staff member who maintained it was pleasant and friendly. I didn't have time to check out the pool, etc. Good basic lodging with a few service issues.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Albany and though my expectations are quite high as someone in the hospitality industry, i enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield in greatly. The front desk to the assistant managers were all quite helpful. I found a convenience in having an indoor pool & jacuzzi as well.
